Philippine Cyberfair:My Involvement

I am a senior student of Iligan City National High School when our teacher indorse us about the Philippine Cyberfair.It is a nationwide contest on making informative websites to feed facts on elementary and high school students and developing the potentials of the students on how to make their website informative and attractive.

Since we are residing in Iligan which is tagged as the City of Majestic Waterfalls and our Mayor is spearheading the upliftment of our city's tourism, I with my groupmates decided to participate in the Local Attraction Category featuring the magnficent cataracts and cascades found in Iligan.

In the process of making our entry, first thing's first! We considered the theme of this year's contest. Then,we researched informations and pictures which will be placed in our website and note its sources to be placed in our Bibliography. After that, we made a lay-out for our website to look informative and attractive one.

What is wonderful with this kind of contest is that, aside from giving the students an avenue to hone their knowledge in the latest technological trend which is computer and everything related to it.The students were also given a chance to explore and love the cultures, heritage and everything in their city which they can be proud of.

Participating in this kind of fair is such a momentous part of mylife which I will be reminiscing...

Trophies and Medals can be bought at the store, but the Experience?........It's not for sale and it's RARE yet PRICELESS!!!
